Validity of the Tournament
The LIII National and International Open Mexican Championship of Chess Aguascalientes 2007, will give possibility of obtaining of norms and international titles, according to that specified by the FIDE and National Master and National Expert Titles according to that agreed by the Technical Congress 2006 of the FENAMAC.
The titles were granted inside the Category 1ª Force: National Master 6 points of nine possible.
National Expert 5.5 points of nine possible.
The International category and 2da Force will be reported the FIDE for their registration in the international rating.
All the categories will be reported in the national rating.
Guarantee of FENAMAC
The National Open Mexican of Chess Championship, is carried out year with year during the Holly week celebrations in different states of the Mexican Republic. In July of the 2006 the Association of Chess of Aguascalientes, A.C. requested the championship for the State, during the Technical Congress of the Chess National Federation, A.C., carried out in Ixtapan de la Sal, State of Mexico. After accepting the Aguascalientes host like candidate, the FENAMAC visited the state and met with the authorities of the Sport Institute, the Secretary of Administration and Innovation and the Secretary of Tourism of the Aguascalientes State. After the visit FENAMAC representatives, they know the infrastructure, and after to make the corresponding negotiations, the FENAMAC granted the Guarantee to Aguascalientes for the realization of the 53 edition of the most important chess championship in Mexico.
